From the Author Marijuana: Not Guilty as Charged, was five years in the writing. I've spent more than 50 years researching this challenging subject. I'm tremendously proud of the response to this book. I receive dozen's of emails and letters attesting to its value. It's sad that there are some 30 million, or more, marijuana users. We wonder why pot is not legalized. People are not getting involved. How many million would you guess belong to the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws? (NORML) A million? Two million? Tragically, the number is less than NINE THOUSAND. Read the chapter, WHAT IS NORML? You will want to be a part of history and join up. With your help marijuana will once again be legalized for adults. In ten thousand years of use there is not one recorded death from the overdose or toxicity of cannabis. Compare that to alcohol that kills more than 100,000 American's each year. Nicotine products kill more than 400,000. And FDA so-called "safe drugs" in the physician's Desk Reference, (PDR) cause the death of another 100,000 each year, and puts one million American's in the hospital annually due to toxicity or overdose. I'd like to hear from you. My email address is: dave@davidrford.com David R. Ford Marijuana:
Not Guilty as Charged, is a valuable gift that you will be giving as
a gift, and recommending to your friends. From
the Publisher Author David R. Ford interviewed more than 300 medical and social users of marijuana for the writing of this outstanding hard cover book. If the teens that he interviewed on his popular radio show, JUNIOR JAMBOREE, when he was in high school and college, the number would exceed thousands of young and adult users of this the worlds least harmful drug. Ford lived in Hawaii for 30 years. Many of them were working for the CBS television affiliate in Hawaii. There he interviewed nationally recognized celebrities, as well as users of marijuana. Dozen's of users stories are included in this easy to read book. |
